Chen Huang is a Data Strategist at Silicon Valley Data Science. Drawing on her background in consulting, various industries, and analytics product companies, Chen brings a unique perspective on all aspects of data strategy, data transformation, analytics, and business decision making. Chen has knowledge and experience in global strategy rollouts, analytics, visualizations, and product management. Her specialty is bridging the gap between business and technology.
Chen has led a global big data and analytics platform transformation project supporting real-time visibility, ad-hoc queries, and reporting needs for global users spanning five countries. In addition to understanding the business decisions and strategies associated with a data transformation, she draws on her tactical experiences as an analyst, product manager, and developer to foresee roadblocks and challenges in the data landscape. She is passionate about sharing her insight and experiences to advise companies on becoming data-driven while addressing the technical, organizational, cultural, and collaborative challenges associated with the transformation.
She holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
