Sr. Director, Enterprise Architecture
Our enterprise architecture practice is focused on core technology disruptors, such as incorporating microservices, the first native cloud architecture, and adopting a cloud-first mindset for application builds; gaining real-time analytic insights through connecting our big data platform with an event-driven architecture; maturing our continuous delivery pipeline through automation and integration of security controls; and embracing an open source philosophy. We are driving adoption of these modern architectures and advanced engineering practices by:
• Leading and participating in hackathons
• Hosting workshops leveraging design-thinking practices
• Engaging across LOBs on our critical projects
• Delivering reference architectures paired with working software
• Driving awareness at the CIO and senior leadership levels, providing input into overall strategic integration
By harnessing the power of modern technologies, such as microservices, cloud, and open source solutions, we are delivering disruptive products to our end consumers faster, with better insights, and at the point of engagement. By adopting advanced engineering practices, our engineers are more productive and our solutions are higher in quality.
Our comprehensive approach to open source is closer to firms in Silicon Valley than firms in the financial sector. We see our approach, which includes consumption, contribution, inner-sourcing, and releasing our own projects, as an enabler to attract and retain the best talent.
Our maturing continuous delivery pipeline is integrated with our open source repository, security scans and static analysis tools, providing a platform for software that is more secure and better quality.
Our work to enable real-time analytics lays the foundation for real-time insights, decisions, and interactions.
