Dr. Sergei Izrailev is SVP, Data Science at Integral Ad Science, where he is focusing on advancing Integral’s media quality measurement and programmatic advertising product offerings, as well as developing and scaling the data science team, which is one of the largest among similar size companies. Before Integral, he led the data science team at Collective and was responsible for the data science strategy and execution, as well as for the architecture, development and scaling of ‘big data science’ based advertising technology products. Prior to Collective, Sergei was a quant/trader in several large financial institutions where he focused on developing trading strategies and portfolio optimization methodologies, as well as on collection, processing and analysis of high-frequency market data. Previously, he worked as a senior scientist at 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson, where he developed intelligent computational tools and software systems for structure-based drug discovery. Sergei published 17 peer-reviewed articles and 3 book chapters. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Master of Computer Science degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
